I'm about to start putting my new PC together. It shouldn't be too hard; I just have to install the CPU, memory, hard drive and CD-RW/DVD drive. And then install Windows XP.

At some point, I'll have to configure it to use all my peripherals, install all my software and transfer data from the old PC, but for now I just want to get the new box running successfully.

I'm listening to a show I downloaded last night by a new band called the Mermen... new to me, though they've been around since the late 1980s. They're an instrumental power trio, playing what could be described as psychedelic surf music. So far, I really like it.
