I had the day off for the Canada Day holiday. We walked over to Princes Island, where most of the festivities were taking place, but didn't stay long. Too crowded and too hot. Instead we went to a sidewalk cafe for a cold beverage and some people-watching.

My Dad has started playing bridge at the seniors lodge. He hasn't played for years; our family used to play often when I lived at home. He's been playing crib, too. Some of his cribbage pegs had been lost or broken, so I googled for an online source and ordered a new set for him.
