I finally saw Legends of the Fall tonight, nine years after it was released. I had long wanted to see it, in part because it was filmed in the Calgary area. I'm a sucker for westerns anyway, but I did think this one was very good.

It must have been during the making of this film that I saw Anthony Hopkins a couple of times eating alone in a little vegetarian restaurant on 1st Street, where the PiqNiq Cafe is now. I remember joking with L about Hannibal Lechter.
