I woke up this morning feeling something cool and wet hitting my face. "It must be raining," I thought. No such luck! I got up to close the window, and could see nothing but white. Several inches of snow had fallen overnight. We decided to go to breakfast anyway, and arrived at the restaurant with half an inch of wet snow on our umbrellas and coats. We had a new waitress, a chatty goth girl with black hair, lipstick and nail polish. After bacon and eggs and a couple of cups of coffee, I was ready to brave the elements on the way home. I had planned to get my hair cut today, but rather than go out again, I think I'll just stay home and let it grow.
