Last night, my boss took the project team (various people from our company and a client company, plus spouses) out to dinner at a place called The Cross House Restaurant.

I decided to wear a jacket and tie. I can't remember the last time I wore a tie, but I had to brush the dust off my dress shoes and jacket, so it must have been a year or two.

After a few minor misadventures, we found the restaurant. I had it confused with another one (The Deane House) in the same area.

Dinner was good -- spinach salad, three onion bisque, beef medallions and dessert (some kind of pudding with berries). I'm usually a little nervous at these types of functions, but it was pretty relaxed and the conversation flowed. Lorna enjoyed it, too.

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
