I'm reading The Wrong Box, by Robert Louis Stevenson and Lloyd Osbourne. Very funny novel set in Victorian England. I believe it was made into a film, but I haven't seen it.

Work has been a bit boring of late. Perhaps I've been too preoccupied with world events, which haven't been boring at all. The company is taking us to dinner next week to celebrate the successful completion of a project. I would have preferred a lunch, which doesn't cut into my personal time, but I expect it will be enjoyable. I've not heard of the restaurant we are going to.
