Random jottings

I've installed VPN and pcAnywhere on my home PC. It may save me a few evening or weekend trips to the office. With any luck I won't have to use it often.

I've been downloading quite a few mp3s lately, mainly from alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.1960s (and some of the other decade newsgroups). I'm a child of the '60s, for better or worse.

I was very tired and grumpy today. After a long nap, I am almost back to normal.

We had a chinook here, after what seems like weeks of sub-zero temperatures. The snow is melting, and crossing the street becomes an adventure in getting around the overflowing gutters.
