I started on my taxes today -- installed the software, and collected all the information slips I've received so far. The software (QuickTax) requires online activation, like Windows XP. It would, by default, have installed some demos for other software, but I unchecked those options. It also placed some shortcuts on my desktop linking to various websites. Kind of annoying. Not nearly as annoying as writing a cheque to the government at the end of April will be, though.

This evening, I watched Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne on Larry King Live. I think a lot of Ozzy's stammering is just nervousness. It was quite bad when he first went on, but by the end of the show he was relaxed and speaking much better.
