Groundhog Day

Punxsutawney Phil is forecasting six more weeks of winter. I'm not sure that an oversized rodent can be trusted to make an accurate weather prediction, though.

I saw Groundhog Day (the movie with Bill Murray) on TV the other night, and it still holds up well after repeated viewings. A modern classic for sure.

I also saw the original Star Wars last night. The special effects that seemed so dazzling 25 years ago now look amateurish. It is hard to take it seriously, especially after having seen Spaceballs. Mel Brooks is so subversive.
