I'm busy scanning several scrapbooks my mother put together. I've had them for months but haven't gotten to around to doing it until now. In addition to the family photos and documents that I'm scanning, there are old newspaper accounts of Hiroshima, the assassination of JFK, and local events like snowstorms, floods and train accidents. There are also old ration books from WW II, my mother's passport from when she came to Canada in 1944, and memorabilia from various family weddings and funerals. It all brings back a lot of memories. There are some things I remember as happening in my early teens that actually happened when I was 7 or 8.
