Someone has set up a blog to post a daily entry from The Diary of Samuel Pepys. This is also available, via RSS feed, as LiveJournal user pepysdiary. One minor problem is that blog annotations don't appear as LJ comments.

Pepys was an Englishman who kept a shorthand diary in the 1660s, the era of the Great Fire of London, the Plague Year and the coronation of Charles II. His diaries were discovered and published in the 19th century.
