New Year's Eve

I got off work an hour or two early. Went home and had a cup of tea and some quiet time with L, then we went out to dinner at a place called Rococo, in the old Bank of Nova Scotia building on 8th Ave. It has a spectacular dining room and the food is quite good, too. Very expensive, though.

Today was payday, and a bonus was included in my cheque. That wasn't a surprise, as it had been promised, but it is nice to have it in hand.

I'm going to open a bottle of champagne now and make some Kir Royales, as recommended by joyofmacs.
