I spent a quiet and relaxing Christmas at home with L. We got up around 8:00 and opened presents, then lolled around the rest of the day before going to Christmas dinner at the Traders Grill in the Marriot Hotel. Excellent meal -- I had the prime rib, a couple of glasses of Merlot, then plum pudding for dessert.

I've been listening to Sinatra, the Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band and Rahsaan Roland Kirk. The Kirk is something I downloaded today (in the new FLAC format), but unfortunately it is incomplete. I kind of jumped the gun, downloading it from someone's Upload directory. I hope the rest of the show gets uploaded soon. His music is wild, lyrical, humorous.
