Duck & drake

The weather was very mild today, so L and I went for a long walk. There were still many ducks on the Bow River. If you stood still for a moment, they would swim over hoping for a handout. I felt a little guilty taking their picture without having anything to feed them.

We went to a supermarket for the first time in a year or so (we've been shopping online), and bought a turkey, a case of mandarin oranges and a few other things. I love those zipperskin oranges -- one of the nice things about this time of year. We also stocked up on beverages for Christmas.

I transferred everything from my Handspring to my new Sony PDA, and also downloaded and installed DateBk5. I had to do a bit of cleanup, as some Handspring-specific files came across in the transfer. The more I use the Sony, the better I like it.

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
