It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

It snowed here all day, and we have a couple of inches of snow on the ground.

On the way home after work, I stopped at my post office box and found a card notifying me of a package. I hurried to the counter, as they were already starting to close, and the lady handed me a padded envelope. Upon opening it, I found a mix CD of acoustic Christmas music -- bluegrass, jazz, folk and country. The friend who had sent it to me had even made a cover using one of his own photographs of a winter scene. What a wonderful surprise!

I'm on call again for work this weekend. At least, I think I am. It wasn't really made clear, but since the client has my home phone number, if they need me I'm sure they will be in touch.
