Things have been going OK at work this week. Spending some time at the office on the weekend helped me catch up. I started writing a new program today. It is generally more satisfying for me to start a program from scratch, or even rewrite an existing program, than to try and find and fix bugs. The satisfaction in debugging software comes when the problem is found, but the more obscure the problem and the longer it takes to find, the more frustrating and even agonizing the process can be.

Tonight after dinner, L and I went to a restaurant for coffee and dessert (chocolate fudge cake). We used to go to this place quite often, but haven't been there for a long time. How long I don't know, but it has been remodeled since the last time we visited, and the view of the skyline is completely different, too!
