Went for a walk along the river this morning after breakfast. Most of the geese and ducks have already gone south. The leaves are starting to change color, and the squirrels are frantically collecting their winter store of squirrel chow. It's a beautiful time of year. Too damn many aphids around, though.

I got up way too early this morning, and am starting to feel the effects. I made the mistake of commenting to Lorna that the two drinks I had last night did nothing for me, so she has made me a "special" cocktail. If you see a post from me later that seems more idiotic than usual, that's the explanation.
