On orders from my little sister, I called my Dad today and broached some difficult subjects. I did a fairly lame job of it, I'm afraid. As Joy says, this role-reversal stuff is not fun.

At work, I started the week swamped and nearly overwhelmed, but after a few stressful days, I was able to end the week with the most pressing problems solved. I assigned some of the backlog to other employees, and was able to get started on a new project on Friday.

A few weeks ago, I had a stack of about 40 CDs on my desk that I hadn't listened to. That stack has now been eliminated. I still have some WAV files on my hard drive that I need to either burn to CD or delete, but it's down to a manageable level. I enjoy having new music to listen to, but I sometimes overdo it.
