Went for a walk by the river this morning. Saw a large new development of half-million dollar riverfront condos, many of which were destroyed in a spectacular fire a month or two back (started by a careless construction worker). Sad to see.

L has traded 20 of her bibron geckos (they've been breeding) for 2 day geckos. These are a beautiful light green color with orange markings, similar to those used in some TV commercials, like for Geiko. According to L, the Australian aboriginals are frightened of geckos, because they believe geckos can suck their secrets out of their ears.

I finished the Vance book, and am going to turn in now. Back to work tomorrow.
