I had a busy day at work, writing code to calculate recovery efficiency for gas plants. I was getting the right factors, but for some reason they weren't being applied. I started debugging late in the day, then on the way home realized what the problem must be.

I had a lunch meeting with a client, and after work went out to dinner with L and a couple of old friends, J and C. Nothing fancy; I had fish and chips and a Courage Bitter. C has been undergoing chemo, and didn't look her best, but was in good spirits. They are always interesting company.

At last it is starting to feel like summer here. The city is lush and green after all the rain we have had. I want to get out and enjoy the outdoors this weekend.
