This morning I ran into my old boss from the job I had from 1977 to 1995, when I worked in the IT department of a large oil company. He was my supervisor for the first 16 years I worked there. He looks much the same, although it took me a second to recognize him when he first spoke to me. We had a chat about what we have been doing, who is still working for the old company, etc. It was nice to see him, though I felt a bit nostalgic and sad afterward.
