Too many meetings today. Five hours in all. That has to be the least favorite aspect of my job -- sitting for hour after hour listening to people drone on about oil and gas production accounting. But as long as they're paying me, I guess I can't complain.

Two of Jerry Garcia's guitars, Tiger and Wolf, sold at auction today for $850,000 and $700,000 respectively. I wonder if that's a record? I know some of Hendrix's and Clapton's guitars have sold for six figures. [Update: it was a record!]
