Cinco de Mayo

I spent much of the day working on my scanning project. I made good progress, too. The albums I'm working on were put together by my mother in the late 1970s and are showing some wear, with photos coming loose etc. I must get supplies (mounting corners, glue) and do some repairs before returning them to my dad.

We headed off to a nearby Mexican restaurant for dinner, but found it closed. I should have called ahead, as it was snowing heavily and we got wet. We went to our second choice, not a Mexican place, but I did have a Pacifico. Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

This is one of the photos I scanned today, a picture of my father, my sister and me in front of our house in Lethbridge in 1955.
