The monitor was defective and I am returning it to the dealer for a replacement. The courier has picked it up already -- talk about quick service! It was the same guy who delivered it a couple of hours ago.

I'm on a four-day weekend, since Monday is a holiday here (Family Day). It hasn't gotten off to a very good start, but it can only improve from here. At least, that is the theory I am going with.
